This is by far the hottest thing any of us have ever eaten! To be honest, there are no words for how intense this heat is. The heat sneaks up on you. After about a minute, you can begin to feel the ferociousness of this pepper. The pepper that I bought at Savory Spice Shop had a nice smoky flavor and aroma, but that is quickly overtaken by the heat. Hot Content: 74 out of 10. (AKA 1,000,000 scoville units). I will post all three of our videos soon on youtube.com!

The chips have a slight jalapeño taste, but the main flavor I tasted was onion powder. The chips were crisp and not very greasy, however the onion flavor was a bit overwhelming. I would rate the spiciness as a disappointing 5, and the taste as a 5 as well. Overall, I would not purchase these chips again.

Usually, I find Kettle produces delicious quality chips. These chips are one of the exceptions. The slogan on the front of the bag proclaims “ginger with ATTITUDE“. Ginger? Kinda. Attitude? Only if that attitude is that of a surly old man who complains everything is too spicy. The chips are slightly sweet with a bitter aftertaste. The spice lets itself be known as well, by adding to the odd flavor of these chips. Overall, I was very unhappy with these chips. Not only did I not like the flavor, but they were terrible enough to toss the entire bag in the trash. The only positive things about these chips? No trans fats, MSG or artificial flavors. Avoid at all costs!
